  • Get Ready to Apply for Pre K!

     

    The 2020 3-K for All and Pre-K for All applications are now open!
    Families with children born in 2016 should apply to pre-K by the March 16th deadline;

    families with children born in 2017 should apply to 3-K by the April 24th deadline.

    As a reminder, families can apply in one of three ways:

    • Online at MySchools.nyc

    • Over the phone by calling 718-935-2009, or

    • In person at a Family Welcome Center

      Program Staff Action Items

      Programs should log into MySchools to review applicants and verify applicant priorities, including current student priority, and sibling priority. Resources for applicant verification can be found here. The Office of Student Enrollment will be hosting a series of trainings about MySchools verification – please sign up for a training here.

    High School and Middle School Match letters will be available through the Office of Enrollment in March and April 2020. This is the letter that indicates which DOE school your child has been matched to for the Fall of 2020

    Xavier's Higher Achievement Program (HAP) is a tuition-free, five-week summer program for rising 8th-grade boys

    This year our school has adopted a new character education program that follows a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports) model. Our teachers are using Sanford Harmony lessons during an advisory period each week in the classroom to promote social and emotional learning.

    NYC Schools Account provides you a new way of accessing key information about your child’s progress. 

    The Dept. of Education has generated letters to invite families who have not yet registered for an NYC Schools account.

  • Breakfast/Lunch Procedure

    Breakfast/Lunch are free to all studdents this year.  If you child will be eating breakfast in school, they should arrive 
    at 7:30 AM and enter through the main entrance on B. 135th Street otherwise they should arrive at 7:50 AM.

    All families must complete one mandated School Lunch Form available on the school website.  Even if students are not applying for reduced or free lunch, a lunch form must be completed. nyc.applyforlunch.com
